Italia!
Italy has such a rich history. We spent time in Florence, Pisa, Rome, Pompeii, and Bari. A few of the highlights included: Leaning Tower of Pisa, Colosseum, Roman Forum, Paletine Hill, Vatican Museum, and the ruins of Pompeii. We saw so much along the way and learned a lot too.

It was Entertaining to watch people take these kind of pictures, so we joined in!

Chillin’ at the Colosseum

Pompeii is not only an ancient city, but also a dog sanctuary.
We had one minor snag; Sarah ended up with a urinary tract infection. A simple prescription can feel a little overwhelming when you don’t speak the language or know how a countries medical system works.
Thankfully our travel book listed a phone number for tourists needing medical attention. We phoned the doctor on call and she came right to our hotel to provide the necessary care. She said the infection is actually quite common for females who are travelling for a lengthy period of time and it would just need some antibiotics. It was definitely easier than we expected.
We took a ferry from Italy to Greece that took about 16 hours. We will be spending about a week in Greece before heading back for our final Italian stop; Venice.
We are definitely feeling the effects of being on the move for the last four months or so. We seem to have hit a wall so to speak and are permanently tired. Yet as tired as we are we want to make the most of the rest of our time in Europe.
